That's the question my mind has been asking me for the last few days. When the lockdown was announced initially for 2 weeks, there were hardly 10-15 cases in the LA county and never did any of us thought that the cases will rise to almost 10,000 in just 4 weeks. With each passing day since the stay-at-home orders were given, I have been tracking the cases day by day, with the hope that they will start decreasing one day but now that I have seen them rather increasing every day, I have actually given up the hope that this will go away soon and by soon I mean one or two months. Now seeing so many cases in the US and around 20,000 cases of death so far, one will be a fool to even imagine that life can come to a pre-COVID-19 era in a month or two. In fact, if this will go on for another 6 months, I will not be surprised at all. But the main question now stands in front of us is will life ever be the same as before? can the scientists and researchers do the miracle of putting this COVID-19 to a complete end? or even if this is handled as well, will there not be any possibility of another pandemic?
